This innovative program is designed to share the latest in health and wellness programs, while also bringing complementary care to those living with breast or ovarian cancer. Based on scientific findings about the importance of a plant-based diet and regular exercise for healing, our robust program includes a range of classes, lectures and events. Topics include nutrition, massage, yoga and aerobics which have been shown to help you deal with the side effects of cancer and boost healing.

Receive supportive, holistic bodywork, employing massage techniques suitable for individuals undergoing treatment or for those who are post–treatment and/or surgery. A prescription is required. Some medical insurance coverage is applicable for massage; please consult your insurance carrier to see if you qualify. Please note that you will be charged for your scheduled massage unless canceled due to medical emergency

The Japanese healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu is a dynamic form of energy medicine that focuses on harmonizing one's life force through applying gentle touch with compassionate awareness to the energy centers, which are specific locations on the body.

In this hands-on workshop, Alexis Brink offers do-it-yourself practices for those with back, neck and/or shoulder pain. Participants will learn how they can practice on themselves, and will be able to take the techniques home as part of a daily self-care routine. Dr. Muehsam brings her expertise in mind-body medicine. She will explain the links between consciousness, thoughts, feelings and physical pain and teach exercises for accessing and shifting the emotional roots of physical pain.

Alexis Brink is the director of Jin Shin Institute, founded by Pamela Markarian Smith. She has been a certified practitioner of JinShin Jyutsu since 1991.
