cancer fittness A partnership of JCC Manhattan, BreastLink New York, and Mount Sinai West. This innovative program is designed to share the latest in health and wellness programs, while also bringing complementary care to those living with breast or ovarian cancer. Based on scientific findings about the importance of a plant-based diet and regular exercise for healing, our robust program includes a range of classes, lectures and events. Topics range from art to nutrition, Reiki and massage to yoga and aerobics, all to help you deal with the side effects of cancer and boost healing.

Recipes may include beet hummus; Asian-inspired broccoli-cabbage slaw; quinoa-kale salad with almonds, mint, and cranberries; warm edamame and mushroom salad; tofu, pineapple, and summer veggie skewers; summer berry crisp; and mango-turmeric smoothie.
