Literacy and Lunch with Anna Quindlen
Author of Still Life with Bread Crumbs In conversation with JCC Executive Director, Rabbi Joy Levitt Join us for an intimate lunch and conversation with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anna Quindlen as she discusses her newest novel, Still Life with Bread Crumbs, as well as her experiences and inspirations in writing. All attendees will receive a copy of the novel. A portion of the proceeds will support the JCC Literacy Programs. Anna Quindlen is a novelist and journalist whose work has appeared on fiction, nonfiction, and self-help bestseller lists. Her book, A Short Guide to a Happy Life, has sold more than a million copies. While a columnist at The New York Times she won the Pulitzer Prize and Random House published two collections, Living Out Loud and Thinking Out Loud. She is the author of six novels: Object Lessons, One True Thing, Black and Blue, Blessings, Rise and Shine, and Every Last One. Her memoir, Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake, published in 2012, was a #1 New York Times bestseller. The JCC in Manhattan is an affiliate of the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy.
