Harlem Wellness Center and JCC Harlem are partnering to bring you Community Yoga—open to those at all levels of practice (including newbies). Experience a complete practice that includes traditional postures aimed at building strength, agility, and flexibility, with attention to breathing, mindfulness, relaxation, and community connection. Get longer, taller, leaner, stronger! Our continued success at JCC Manhattan has allowed us to expand into group class offerings in Harlem. Pilates helps establish core connection, increased flexibility, and balance by practicing the Pilates principles of concentration, centering, control, coordination, and breath and flow. Students are guided through specifically designed exercises at a consistent pace in 50-minute group tower and mat classes offered every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
