The Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School at the JCC is a place where community, learning and Jewish identity come together in a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment for children ages 2 years, seven months through 5 years old. It is a place for children and families to develop, connect, and feel at home. We believe that socialization and emotional well-being is paramount in order to develop confidence as a student. While imparting a sense of fun about learning and school, we help develop solid foundations by providing the building blocks for reading, math and science readiness.
Connection is the foundation of JCC life. Children will begin to connect to one another, their teachers, Jewish life and a sense of community infused by the building.
Our learning areas are flooded with natural light to create an airy, bright environment. Classrooms are arranged around a central communal space with a secure entrance and dedicated elevator (during nursery school hours) that allows us to create our nurturing enclave.

Connect
Connection is the foundation of JCC life. Children will begin to learn ways to connect to one another, to their teachers, to Jewish life, and to the wider sense of community that the building will infuse. Parents and caregivers will be integrated into the larger life of the JCC, with specially designed day and evening programs on Jewish holidays and traditions, childhood development, exercise, nutrition and much more.
A Parent Resource Center will make accessible ways for parents and caregivers to learn from one another, as well as from the experts.
