Talia Segal Born in Haifa, Israel, Talia is a multimedia artist. She graduated the Tel Aviv University, after completing her service in the Israeli Air Force, where she majored in art, theater and stage design. Since 1992, Talia lives and works in New York City. She graduated the National Academy of Fine Art in Manhattan, where she majored in printmaking. She is the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards and her work is shown in galleries and museums around the globe. Talia’s art work resides in public and private collections. She has been teaching at the JCC of Manhattan since its inception in 2002 and her classes there include drawing, painting and printmaking. “I believe that everybody is an artist in waiting. My mission as an art instructor is to help my students find the artist that dwells inside, and to be able to express themselves with their art”.
