Ulpan is an Israeli method for teaching and improving all Hebrew language skills - speaking, comprehension, reading and writing. Ulpan classes at the JCC are taught by experienced teachers who are native Hebrew speakers. You'll find small, interactive day and evening classes at all levels. Register by June 7 and enjoy a $25 discount off the total Ulpan fees.

• Beginner Aleph is for students with no prior knowledge of the Hebrew Alphabet.

• For students continuing in the Ulpan program: If you wish to register for a fall Ulpan class, and you studied during the winter/spring or summer 2013 semesters, please log on to www.jccmanhattan.org/hebrew and register for the next class in sequence. For example, if you took Beginner Aleph, you may register for Beginner Bet; if you took Intermediate Bet, you may register for Intermediate Gimmel. • The 8 week summer semester starts on Monday, July 1.

The JCC does not issue refunds for classes missed as a result of illness or other circumstances beyond our control. The following refund policy applies to Ulpan classes exclusively: To receive a 100% refund, a written request (this includes letter, fax, or email) must be received by the end of the second week of the student's enrollment in the class. To receive a 50% refund, written requests must be received by the end of the third week of a student's enrollment in the class. No refunds will be given after the third week of class. JCC membership fees are not refundable. Please allow three to four weeks for the processing of refund requests.
