Teen Community Service

Community service and volunteering serve as important components of the JCC teen experience. Through a variety of programs, teens can help repair our world and strengthen our local community alongside other teens. There are many opportunities to give back at the JCC in Manhattan and throughout New York City – cooking and delivering meals to a local soup kitchen, teaching senior citizens how to use technology, mentoring children with special needs, tutoring New York City students in math and reading – and more!

The JCC and BBYO Manhattan strive to offer teens community service and volunteer opportunities that are appealing, meaningful, and enjoyable. Programs meet at various times and days, from weekly to monthly. Let our staff know how you want to make a difference in our community and improve our world.
