Support for those Recently Separated or Divorced
Currently we are not offering 7-week support groups or our monthly drop-in groups, but please check the website (search for "divorce") for upcoming programs on relevant topics relating to separation and divorce. If you need individual or family support or referrals to mediators or other support services please call Susie at 646.505.5726.
Jewish Bereavement Support
Call our colleagues at the Shira Ruskay Center of JBFCS at 212.632.4608 for information about bereavement support programs. For information about support for Jewish survivors of a close one’s suicide call Rabbi Simkha Y. Weintraub, CSW, at 212.632.4770.
Dealing with Illness
Ongoing groups for those who are ill (held at JBFCS) support programs for caregivers and family members of Alzheimer’s, and special fitness and wellness programs for those with cancer and Parkinson’s Disease.
De-stressing in Difficult Times
Daily facilitated meditation sessions; 8-week classes in MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction); other related health and wellness programming to help you get through life’s challenges.
