Keith hails from England (born & raised) and played semi-professional soccer for Arsenal & Chelsea starting at age 13. Twenty years ago Keith made the move stateside, the first four in investment banking, and the last sixteen in the fitness field, where his soccer and aerobic kickboxing experiences make him a unique trainer. Jack Lalane remains his inspiration, reminding Keith of 3 things that keep him going; age is just a number. If you eat, you should exercise. Healthy body, healthy mind.

Travis grew up watching his older brothers play soccer and wrestle, and followed in their footsteps with a dual-sport career at NYU. Combining his academic studies with an already strong affinity for physical activity, Travis received his first personal training certification in 1996 and has been continually educating himself on the latest fitness findings and trends ever since. Travis enjoys bringing his knowledge and experience to the JCC clients and training staff, while always learning from his peers.

Since 1995, Dorit has been a yoga instructor and Reiki Master practicing in both Israel and New York City. In 2006, she continued her professional development by becoming a Holistic Health Counselor and Personal Trainer. Integrating all these skills in her unique mind, body and soul approach to personalized training sessions allows her to address her client’s overall well being. Dorit provides her clients with invigorating, goal-orientated workouts as well as individualized nutritional planning and counseling.

Rachel remembers dancing soon after birth, and makes time between auditioning, taking classes and training to continue this life-long passion. It was a strong commitment to dance that helped her overcome weight issues in her youth, and she now brings this same energy and focus to her clients. Those training with Rachel benefit from the combined disciplines of dance, pilates and MELT techniques. Among other endeavors, Rachel is currently dancing in a NYC caberet.

A native of NYC, Tito overcame Hodgkins Disease as a youth by combining exercise and healthy eating habits, staying strong and minimizing his recovery time from chemo-therapy to six months. Convinced this regimen was the way to live the rest of his life, Tito has since become a top natural bodybuilder, a ten-year veteran of personal training, and is now moving into using MELT techniques, food planning and lifestyle coaching with his diverse clientele. Weight loss and toning remain his specialties.
Joe is a mainstay at the JCC, loyally training here since opening day. At just 13, the Rocky movies and the popular rise of Arnold Schwarzenegger proved an irresistible 1-2 punch in motivating Joe to start training with weights and his passion only grew with age. Turning his love of fitness into his work was an easy decision. Joe now strives to help his clients achieve their goals, while making time for his budding acting career.

Growing up in his native Tuscany, Italy, Paul wanted to be a priest, then a garbageman. He ended up as an actor; a perfect combination. An avid surfer and triathlete, he is also a former San Francisco Golden Gloves and Pacific Coast Diamond Belt boxing champion. After 17 years in the fitness field, authoring 10 books and numerous articles, Paul maintains exercise is the key to living a healthy life, both physically and physiologically. Jamar is a New York City native, coming to the JCC with an extensive background in baseball, basketball, and football. His two brothers, both strong athletes, have inspired Jamar in all things athletic, from preparation and performance, to ensuring safe and effective workouts for his clients. Already a two-year veteran in the fitness field, Jamar aspires to become a physical therapist.

Rizel comes from a corporate background working at law firms in New York. Rizel has a passion for fitness and received her Personal Training certification from Marymount College. She has been training for the past nine years and incorporates weight loss, strength training and overall wellness into her training. Rizel utilizes her extensive fitness background to help members achieve a more healthy and productive lifestyle through her personal training.

Dan began his fitness career during graduate school, teaching academic weight training and fitness classes while assuming the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for University of Missouri's Division I athletic teams. He later managed corporate fitness centers and co-owned "Knowledge & Power Personal Training," in Princeton, New Jersey. A former collegiate athlete, Dan will always maintain his 'muscle-head cred' while expanding his experience and skill in the area of therapeutic exercise.

Maria's youth was non-stop movement, riding her bicycle to various activities; swimming or tennis in the morning, softball or basketball in the afternoon, dance, piano, flute or viola in the evening. She turned her interests into a career, studying with the founders of Postural Strengthening Therapy. Her focus is in creating functional bodies for any sport through good posture. These techniques, and a will to succeed she instills in her clients, enabled Maria to complete a marathon after recovering from two ACL surgeries.
Originally from Coral Springs, FL, Stacey has been a dancer since age 5, a trapeze artist since age 10, and performed in dance, theatre and circus shows throughout her youth. After earning her BA in Creative Writing and Italian, she danced ballet professionally for 4 years in both Europe and the US. She is currently pursuing her Master's in European and Mediterranean Studies at NYU. Stacey believes that fitness is lifestyle; not an option. She integrates her dance background with yoga, pilates, swimming, and plyometrics.
A native of Connecticut, Brett graduated from Baruch College, excelling in his dual major of philosophy and literature. A high school and college athlete, Brett has an extensive background in Sambo, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His training style implements functional exercises into tailor-made fitness routines, with an emphasis on strength training. Brett finds time between sessions to continue his creative writing career.
Cedric began gymnastics at age 6, and evolved into a HS football and track star. He attained his personal training certification after helping neighbors get more fit and active. Early on his focus was split between training and his own aspirations as a professional quarterback, playing many semi-professional seasons. Now a 10-year fitness veteran, he maintains that his greatest enjoyment is getting to know his clients while promoting positive changes.

Daryl comes to personal training from an extensive background in sports competition. An award-winning gymnastics career commenced by age 7, yet by high school football became an enduring passion. A dedicated and aspiring athlete in his own right, Daryl nonetheless adapts to recent mothers, high school athletes and adults of various ages equally well. In addition, those looking for sports/circuit training programs are well advised to seek his services.

Born in Guinea and raised in the Cote D'Ivoire, Toure played soccer throughout his youth, soon discovering a strong natural affinity for coaching. His competitive boxing experience as an adult hit home the importance of staying fit, and helped him become a top JCC instructor. Toure's positive attitude, challenging workout regimens, and his ability to lead by example is creating a growing list of motivated clients who get results.
