R&R: Shabbat at the JCC Returns!

R & R: Shabbat at the JCC is an antidote to our 24/7 life style. A day to step out of the frantic pace of everyday life. A day off. Join us Saturdays from 2 to 5pm to enjoy family and community. We'll transform our lobby and our programs so you can transform your relationship to the 7th day.

R & R returns on Saturday, October 31st and continues through Saturday, March 20th, 2010.

Our Shabbat programming respects and celebrates all levels of observance. Please check with our lobby greeters to see which programs are right for you.

Come in from the ordinary and experience our free gift to the community.

Shabbat. An ancient solution to a modern dilemma. So priceless we've made it free.

Please help us create a spirit of Shabbat throughout the JCC!

Please silence your cell phones and if you must make or receive a phone call, please step into one of the stairwells for that purpose.

Please be sure that adults accompany young children to all family programs. Thank you!

Our lobby has been transformed by the flowing white columns of fabric suspended from the ceiling. The work of artist Michele Brody, this installation evokes the themes of Shabbat as a queen or bride that are part of the Jewish mystical tradition and imparts a sense of calm and quiet to our otherwise hectic lobby.
