Pocket Peace: A Course with Allan Lokos

Join us for some extended time with Allan Lokos as we look in depth at the wisdom in his new book Pocket Peace. In this course we will examine the Buddhist teachings called the Paramis (Pali) or Paramitas (Sanskrit.) These are the ten virtuous qualities taught to support one on the path to becoming an awakened being. Parami is usually translated as perfection, so these qualities are seen as among the noblest virtues to be practiced and developed. Allan will lead us through an exploration of the Paramis and share some of the powerful yet concise practices he has developed to help us cultivate these qualities and put them into use in our daily lives.
