Cooking Classes for Kids
Exploring the Kitchen

Starting with their first explorations in the kitchen learning how to whisk, peel, and stir while experimenting with new tastes and fresh food, cooking supports our youngest chefs’ speech and motor skill development, while also helping them to expand their vocabulary and gain a deeper understanding of colors, shapes, and smells all in a nurturing and delicious environment.

As kids grow and learn more about the world around them our cooking classes allow them to gain knowledge about different cultures through the flavors of fresh global ingredients.

Whether you would like to share in the tradition of baking challah or making a Shabbat dinner with your child, or are looking for a place where your tween or teen can have fun in the kitchen together with their friends, the JCC Culinary Arts program has a spot at our table for you!
